Centers for Disease Control (CDC)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.  This federal agency administers national programs aimed to prevent and control disease by developing and implementing programs to improve health.  They provide data and statistics as well as information on diseases and conditions, environmental health, and safety.
