ASRM COVID-19 Task Force Update #15
May 19, 2021
Published in: ASRM Press Release
- COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for women who are contemplating pregnancy or who are pregnant to minimize risks to themselves and their pregnancy.
- Physicians continue to play a crucial role in encouraging vaccination among their staff and their patients.
- We support the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) strong recommendation that everyone present in a healthcare setting wear a mask.
- Where permissible, we support partners attending reproductive health appointments as long as they are wearing a mask and are asymptomatic. State, local, institution, and clinic rules and guidelines supersede this guidance.
