ASRM Transfers to Virtual Operations
Mar 16, 2020
Published in: ASRM Announcement
As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow in ASRM’s areas of operation, we are taking measures to protect the health and well-being of staff, members, and visitors to our headquarters office in Washington, D.C., and our operations center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Effective immediately, ASRM will operate on a virtual basis until the time it is considered safe to return to an in-person working environment. We are not suspending or closing operations and will continue to serve you and conduct business remotely.
Please note that the ASRM 2020 Scientific Congress & Expo in Portland, Oregon (October 18-21), remains scheduled as planned. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and are in the process of researching options for upcoming in-person events if the need for alternatives arises. Any changes to scheduled programs will be communicated.
In the meantime, we encourage you to take advantage of ASRM’s virtual learning opportunities, including airLearning modules, micro-presentations, and ASRM QBoost.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate this rapidly changing situation.
Ricardo Azziz, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A.
